ITALY! May the team with the best ice cream win. I went with Jason, and he's fluent in Italian, so we were rooting for Italy. And the game was very exciting. I may end up a football fan yet.

I didn't really care until Zidane's head butt. Then I rooted for Italy on principle.
The really sad thing about rooting for France (because I was grateful that they beat Brazil and a little annoyed about Italy beating Germany) was the fact that I think I was the only one I know who did root for them. Le sigh.

I still find tar heel basketball more exciting.
